Transformational Coaching · One-to-one with Adam Palmer · Online
One-to-one work with someone who’s been there - and found the way through. Start with a free call - you’ll leave with a roadmap, whether or not we work together.
You’re not new to this. You’ve read the books, maybe done talk therapy, maybe more courses than you’d like to count. You understand yourself better than almost anyone you know.
And somehow, nothing has actually changed.
You’re not lazy, you’re not weak-willed, and you’re not sabotaging yourself by choice. Something real is pulling the other way, and it has been for a long time. That’s not a flaw in your character - it’s a pattern with a cause.
Maybe you’ve done talk therapy - perhaps years of it. And maybe it genuinely helped: you understand where the patterns come from, you can see them coming, you’ve joined the dots between then and now.
But you might have noticed the strange gap that comes after the insight: you can see the pattern perfectly - and watch it play out anyway.
That’s not a failure of the work you’ve done, and it’s certainly not a failure of yours. Understanding lives in the part of you that thinks and speaks. The part that holds you back doesn’t speak the language of thoughts and ideas - so the insight, however sharp, never quite reaches it.
So maybe you tried the other route. A coach. Goals, accountability, mindset work, the morning routine.
And it worked - for a while. New energy, a plan, real momentum. Then the old pull came back, and the momentum went wherever it always goes.
There’s nothing wrong with goals or accountability, and nothing wrong with the coaches who offer them. But they all work by adding push. If something underneath is pulling the other way, more push just makes everything harder. What’s needed isn’t more force - it’s releasing the thing that’s braking.
The invisible thing isn’t a mystery, and it isn’t a character flaw. It’s subconscious baggage - most of it picked up long before you’d have called it anything at all.
That’s why you’ve never been able to think your way past it, and why you’ve never quite been able to explain it - it was never made of words. It sits underneath, and every time life is about to move - the new start, the bigger step, the change you’ve been planning - it pulls the brake. Not to spite you. To protect you, the only way it knows how.
And it can’t be argued out of the job, and it can’t be forced out of it. It lets go the way it was built: a little at a time, when it’s shown - not told - that it’s finally safe to.
The work is a six-step process - The Integration Process, built from everything that actually worked on my own journey through this. It works on the subconscious and the nervous system directly.
We meet one-to-one over video. Together we find where the brake is still on - and begin working with it directly in the very first session.
Step by step, the journey releases the pressure and tension that’s built up over the years - the weight that’s been pulling you back. Some sessions include talking; the talking supports the deeper work, not the other way round.
The work carries on between sessions. What releases stays released - each step builds on the last, and what you put down stays down.
The story of how it started stays yours - if you want to tell me things you can, but nothing requires it.
I was always the capable one - the one who could figure anything out. So when it came to my own struggles, I did what I’d always done: I researched, I analysed, I understood. In the end I could explain my own patterns perfectly.
And understanding changed nothing. The same patterns kept running. The handbrake stayed on. I spent years trying to think my way out of something that wasn’t living in my thoughts.
The journey took me through talk therapy, acupuncture, every kind of practitioner I could find - and finally long-term travel through the mountains of Peru, trying to get to the bottom of what was wrong with me.
Along the way I trained in half a dozen disciplines - talking therapies, body-based work, hypnotherapy, therapeutic massage - because I wanted to understand what actually reaches the part of us that’s still holding on.
Then I took everything that had worked and built The Integration Process: a six-step journey that works on the subconscious and nervous system directly. Step by step it releases what’s been held - and the brake comes off. It’s one-to-one, online.
I won’t claim my story is your story. But when I sit with someone who’s stuck like this, I’m not working from theory. I’ve lived through it personally.
There’s a familiar order to what people notice.
Things start moving first. The thing you’ve planned for years gets started - and this time it keeps going. Decisions that used to take months take days. The step you kept not taking, taken.
Then the effort drops away. Life stops feeling like driving with the brake on - what used to take a push starts happening on its own.
And then the more subtle changes. Patience coming back. The warmth and colour coming back again. Catching yourself smiling at nothing in particular.
Not a new you. The you that’s been in there the whole time, just with a lot less to carry.
The first step is a free call. You talk, I listen.
You tell me as much or as little as you want. By the end you’ll understand what’s actually been holding you back and why nothing so far has quite shifted it - and you’ll leave with a roadmap: the clearest path forward I can see for you, whether that involves me or not.
If I believe I can help, I’ll say so, and explain exactly how. If I’m not the right person, I’ll tell you that too - and point you toward someone who is.
No pressure, no obligation, nothing to prepare.
That’s a fair question, and I’d be asking it too. Most of what you’ve tried worked on understanding - and it worked; you understand plenty. This works on the part understanding never reached: the thing that’s actually pulling you back. If years of insight haven’t moved it, that isn’t evidence you’re beyond help. It’s evidence the work was happening in the wrong place.
No - this is practical subconscious and body-based work. Although I’ve trained in various talking therapies - this is not therapy. Some people even do this work alongside their therapist, and that combination often works well. This is also not crisis support: if you’re in crisis right now, please contact the Samaritans (UK) 116 123, free, any time. In the US, call or text 988.
No. There are no goal-sheets, no accountability check-ins, no morning routines. Those things have their place - but if they were what you needed, they’d have worked by now. This works on the thing underneath: the part of you that pulls back every time life is about to move. When that releases, the goals tend to take care of themselves.
There are no prices on this page because I don’t sell one-size packages - what I’d recommend depends entirely on your situation. The call is free. On it, and only if it’s a fit, I’ll explain clearly what I’d suggest and what it costs. You’ll leave with your roadmap either way.
You shouldn’t - not yet. If trust is the expensive part for you, I’m not going to ask for it up front. You don’t have to trust me yet - that’s what the call is for. It’s free, it’s under an hour, and you’ll learn more about whether I’m the right person from talking with me than from anything I could write here.
This is one-to-one work to release the invisible thing that’s been holding you back - not another push, and not more insight. It starts with a free call: you talk, I listen. The call costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Even if we never speak again, you’ll leave the call understanding what’s actually been holding you back - with a clear roadmap forward.
The only real cost is waiting. The invisible thing doesn’t tend to let go on its own. It lets go when it’s shown how. That’s what the call is for.
