For the moment before you snap.

A free 90-second practice for coming back steady.
Fine to furious in three seconds — then three days feeling terrible about it. That was me, for years. Not because I didn't love the people around me, but because everything in me was already full before the first thing went wrong.

What helped wasn't becoming a more patient person overnight. It was learning one small thing to do in the narrow gap between full and overflowing — a gap I didn't even know was there.

The Pause is that practice: ninety seconds, recorded in my voice, simple enough to remember when it matters. Step away, let it pass through you, and walk back in steady — instead of saying something you'll spend three days regretting.
